Turn the Page... Tuesday

One book?
ONE stinkin' lousy book?
How could that be?

Wait, wait!
I'm wrong.
I read two!

I bet you can guess them both (especially if you seen any of my past TTP... T posts).

I'll give you a hint... (It works for both books)
- I was on vacation the first week of May, so I wanted something light that I didn't have to think too hard about.
- The rest of the month was spent either swimming, biking, or running - or recovering from the previously mentioned activities (and I pretty much fell asleep the moment my head hit the pillow) - so my mind was in no shape for anything too complex.

Didjya guess?
Yep... Sookie strikes again!

In May I read Books 6 & 7 in Charlaine Harris' vampire series where we meet a new supernatural creature... Quinn, the were-tiger.  He and Sookie are drawn to each other in Book 6, Definitely Dead, but you don't learn if they become a couple till Book 7, All Together Dead (and even then, you're not sure).

Now I'm stuck.  Book 7 is the last one book I have.  There's 8, 9, and NOW 10!  I just don't have time to goto the library or the bookstore to look for used copies.  I'll buy new if I have to, but these seem to be novels I'd like get used.  I'm not sure why.

Anyway... those are my two for May.  Not sure if June will be much different.  The "big show" is July 3rd.  After that, I'm lowering the intensity a bit.

Have a great month!

Happy reading (and playing outside, and gardening, and cycling... and, and...

Oh, I almost forgot... go visit Some of a Kind to read more or play along.  (Thanks, Adrienne, for keeping this going!)

well if you can't read something you enjoy and can relax and unwind to, then life would be a bit sad, wouldn't it? x

Sounds like you're one busy lady....Good book choices in between all that busy-ness.

You are a busy lady! I'm not half that busy and I only read two books this month. I love when I get to the end of a series and discover there is yet one more book left to read!

I love a quick, fun read when life is so hectic. I've only read one Charlaine Harris and it was Definately Dead. I had picked it up at a yard sale not realizing that it was part of a series, but it read fine as a stand-alone as well. Been thinking I should pick up some more.
